Wavelength Division Multiplexing, a technology that simultaneously transmits multiple channels (wavelength) through a single optical fiber. WDMs are bidirectional, they split two wavelengths from entering the common port into two separate output port s. Three different kinds of wavelength coupling combination are available for communication system.
